Rabbit anti-Human Cyclin-dependent Kinase 4 (Cdk4) IgG fraction polyclonal antibody
Catalog no.
PCA-3010a-9
$425.00
IgG fraction from rabbit polyclonal antibody obtained by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide (QHSYLHKDEGNPE) corresponding to amino acids 291-303 of human Cdk4. The IgG fraction was purified using Protein G-Sepharose.
- Storage: Store at -20°C.
- Stability: Stable at least one year at -20°C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Biological activity: This polyclonal antibody reacts in ELISA (1: 250 dilution) and Western blot (1: 1,000 dilution) using the immunizing peptide. Cyclin-dependent kinase 4 (Cdk4) is a 34 kDa catalytic subunit of the protein kinase complex and belongs to the Ser/Thr protein kinase family. Cdk4 forms a complex with D-type cyclins and may regulate cell growth during G1 phase of the cell cycle. Cdk4 also associates with Cdk inhibitor p16 that down-regulates Cdk4 activity. Mutations in Cdk4 are associated with tumorigenesis of a variety of cancers.
- Formulation: Solution at 1.0 mg/mL in PBS. Some of the liquid in the vial could have evaporated with changes in the final volume. However, the mass of the protein is still inside the vial.
