Rabbit anti-Human Cullin5 (CUL 5) IgG fraction polyclonal antibody

IgG fraction from rabbit polyclonal antibody obtained by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide (SNLLKNKGSLQFEDK) corresponding to amino acids 4-19 of human Cullin 5. The IgG fraction was purified using Protein G-Sepharose.

• Storage: Store at -20°C.
• Stability: Stable at least one year at -20°C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Biological activity: This polyclonal antibody can be used in ELISA (1: 500 dilution), immunocitochemistry (1:100 dilution) and it recognizes Cullin 5 (91 kDa) in Western blot of HeLa lysate (1: 1,000 dilution). Cullins (1, 2, 3, 4a, 5 and 7) are a family of proteins that assemble a large number of ubiquitin ligases to catalyse polyubiquitiation, as well as binding to various specific factors to recruit substrates. Cullin 5 (CUL 5) is a component of E3 ubiquitin ligase complexes and it is involved in proteosomal degradation of p53/TP53 stimulated by adenovirus E1B-55 kDa protein. It may also form a cell surface vasopresin receptor and it may play a role in brast tumorigenesis.
• Formulation: Solution at 1 mg/mL in PBS. Some of the liquid in the vial could have evaporated with changes in the final volume. However, the mass of the protein is still inside the vial.
