Anti-Rat subtypes I and II (Reference 1) Na channel antibodies were elicited from specific peptides. These subtypes are expressed differentially in specific regions of the brain. The IgG fraction is obtained from a polyclonal antibody raised individually in rabbits against three peptides, designated A, B and C. 1). Therefore, these antibodies are able to recognize the rat-derived Na channels. Each individual antibody was purified by affinity chromatography using Protein G-Sepharose.
- Storage: Store at -20°C.
- Stability: At least 1 year at -20°C.
- Biological activity: This polyclonal antibody recognizes the type I and II Sodium channel (immunoprecipitation). Crossreactivity with other Na Channels have been observed with other mammalian species.
- Formulation: IgG fraction. Frozen liquid. 1.0 mg/mL. Formulated in 0.1 M Tris-HCL (pH 7.5)
