IgG fraction from mouse monoclonal antibody (clone 2B2/D3) obtained by immunization of mice with human T lymphocytes. The IgG fraction was purified using Protein G-Sepharose.

- Biological activity: This antibody can be used in immunoprecipitation, and flow cytometry, it also inhibits the cytolytic T lymphocyte (CTL) activity. It recognizes CD58 (also known as LFA-3), a 60-70 kDa membrane glycoprotein member of the immunoglobulin super family. CD58 is expressed on haemopoetic cells and it functions as an adhesion molecule mediating a co-stimulatory signal through CD2.
