IgG fraction from mouse monoclonal antibody (clone 4E5/C6) obtained by immunization of mice with human complement activation protein blocker-2, CAB-2 (110 kDa). The IgG fraction was purified using Protein G-Sepharose.
- Storage: Store at -20°C.
- Stability: Stable for at least one year. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Biological activity: This antibody can be used for ELISA assay (1:2,000 dilution). CAB-2 is a soluble chimeric protein derived from human decay accelerating factor (CD55) and membrane cofactor protein (CD46). It inhibits C3 and C5 convertases of both classical and alternative pathway. It also blocks the activation of complement in vivo.
