Protein produced in genetically engineered yeast cells as a protein fusion with human superoxide dismutase (SOD). It covers from Met 1 to Leu 130 of the HTLV-I gag protein (isolate ATK-1). The apparent MW is 30,700. It has been purified by ionic exchange followed by gel filtration chromatography.
