Rabbit Anti-Tobacco Ringspot Virus (TRSV) IgG fraction POLYCLONAL
Catalog no.
AP-7103-9
$425.00
IgG fraction from rabbit polyclonal antibody obtained by immunizing rabbits with a mixture of four synthetic peptides corresponding to aa41-53 (DYGGLHSQE WCAK), aa189-200 (DTFAIDRYYEAK), aa352-366 (SSSELYNWFTLTNLK), and aa420-431 (SRSQAQAQEGS) of the TRSV coat protein. The IgG fraction was purified using Protein G-Sepharose.
- Storage: Store at -20°C.
- Stability: Stable at least one year at -20°C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Biological activity: This polyclonal antibody reacts with extracts of TRSV-infected plants in DAS-ELISA as a capture antibody (1: 50 dilution). TRSV belongs to the genus Nepovirus of the family Comoviridae, its genome consists of two segments of positive-sense single-stranded RNA molecules. Virions are small icosahedral composed of 60 copies of a single capsid protein (53 kDa). This protein plays a crucial role in several aspects of the viral life cycle. TRSV is transmitted by nematodes, insects and seeds.
- Formulation: Solution at 1 mg/mL in PBS. Some of the liquid in the vial could have evaporated with changes in the final volume. However, the mass of the protein is still inside the vial.
