Rabbit polyclonal antibody IgG fraction obtained by immunizing rabbits with a purified coat recombinant fragment of GFLV. The IgG fraction was purified using Protein G-Sepharose.

  • Storage: Store at -20°C.
  • Stability: Stable at least one year at -20°C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
  • Biological activity: This polyclonal antibody reacts with extracts of GFLV-infected plants in ELISA (1: 200 dilution) and Western blot (1: 1,000 dilution, using the coat recombinant protein). GFLV belongs to the genus Nepovirus of the family Comoviridae and its genome is composed by two single-stranded positive-sense RNAs.It has a single coat protein with a molecular weight of 56 kDa, this protein has been reported to be involved in the specific transmission of the GFLV by its nematode vector Xiphinema index.
  • Formulation: Solution at 1 mg/mL in PBS. Some of the liquid in the vial could have evaporated with changes in the final volume. However, the mass of the protein is still inside the vial.
