IgG fraction from mouse monoclonal antibody (clone 2D12/E8) obtained by immunization of mice with a KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide SHLKS [dimethyl-K]KGQST corresponding to aa367 – aa377 of human tumor suppressor p53. The IgG fraction was purified using Protein G-Sepharose.

- Stability: Stable for at least one year. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing
- Biological activity: This antibody can be used in ELISA assays (1: 1,000 dilution). It recognizes dimethylated p53 (K372). p53 is a transcription factor that is mutated in approximately half of all human cancers. It controls the cell cycle, apoptosis and DNA repair in response to cytotoxic stresses. The C terminus of p53 is rich in lysines, which are subjected to different modifications to regulate p53 activity
