$425.00
IgG fraction from rabbit polyclonal antibody obtained by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide (AKEGVVAAEKTKQGV) corresponding to amino acids 11 - 26 of human alpha, beta and gamma-synuclein. The IgG fraction was purified using Protein G-Sepharose.
- Storage: Store at -20°C.
- Stability: Stable at least one year at -20°C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Biological activity: This polyclonal antibody reacts in ELISA and Western Blot using the immunizing peptide. The synucleins (alpha, beta and gamma) are a family of soluble presynaptic proteins expressed in neural tissue. Synucleins are thought to be involved in neuronal plasticity, synaptic function, and neurodegenerative diseases. Gamma-synuclein is abnormally expressed in tumor tissues of different cancers.
- Formulation: Solution at 1 mg/mL in PBS. Some of the liquid in the vial could have evaporated with changes in the final volume. However, the mass of the protein is still inside the vial.
