$425.00
IgG fraction from rabbit polyclonal antibody obtained by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide (IEPLMEPEGESYEDPPQE) corresponding to amino acids 108 - 125 of human Beta-Synuclein. The IgG fraction was purified using Protein G-Sepharose.
- Storage: Store at -20°C.
- Stability: Stable at least one year at -20°C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Biological activity: This polyclonal antibody reacts in ELISA and Western Blot using the immunizing peptide. Human beta synuclein is a soluble protein highly abundant in presynaptic nerve terminals and a member of the synuclein family. It could act as a physiological negative regulator of Alpha-Synuclein aggregation and it is associated with neurodegenerative disordes. This protein has been shown to be a substrate for phosphorylation by CAM kinase.
- Formulation: Solution at 1 mg/mL in PBS. Some of the liquid in the vial could have evaporated with changes in the final volume. However, the mass of the protein is still inside the vial.
