Catalog no.
MA-CD8-6
$275.00
IgG fraction from mouse monoclonal antibody (clone 1C8/D8) obtained by immunization of mice with human CD8+ T- lymphocyte. The IgG fraction was purified using Protein G-Sepharose.
- Biological activity: This antibody can be used for ELISA assay. Human CD8 is expressed either as an aß heterodimer or an aa homodimer by the cytotoxic/suppressor subset of T-cells and weakly by NK cells. CD8 acts as co-receptor in class I MHC-restricted antigen-induced T cell activation (binds to class I MHC molecules). It also participates in the thymocyte development.
