IgG fraction from mouse monoclonal antibody (clone 8G3/A1) obtained by immunization of mice with human lymphocytes. The IgG fraction was purified using Protein G-Sepharose.

- Biological activity: This antibody can be used in flow cytometry studies. It recognizes all isoforms of the CD45 (LCA). CD45 is a transmembrane tyrosine phosphatase, expressed on nucleated hematopoitic cells, which can exist in at least nine different isoforms resulting from tissue-specific alternative RNA splicing. CD45 functions as a leukocyte membrane receptor signal transduction. It plays an essential role in the regulation of leukocyte activation, development, and function.
