IgG fraction from mouse monoclonal antibody (clone 2G8/E5) obtained by immunization of mice with human CD40. The IgG fraction was purified using Protein G-Sepharose.

- Stability: Stable for at least one year. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing
- Biological activity: This antibody can be used in ELISA and flow cytometry studies. It recognizes CD40, a 50 kDa glycoprotein, member of the TNF receptor family, expressed on antigen-presenting cells such as B cells, macrophages, dendritic cells and thymic epithelial cells and overexpressed in a broad range of leukemias, lymphomas and carcinomas. CD40 is activated by gp39 and may stimulate cell growth, differentiation or death.
