IgG fraction from mouse monoclonal antibody (clone 3H9/F9) obtained by immunization of mice with MAGE-1 protein (48 kDa). The IgG fraction was purified using Protein G-Sepharose.
- Storage: Store at -20°C.
- Stability: Stable for at least one year. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Biological activity: This antibody can be used for ELISA assay (1:4,000 dilution) and Western Blot (1:2,000 dilution). It recognizes the MAGE-1 protein, a specific antigen that is recognized by autologous cytotoxic T lymphocytes. This cytoplasmatic protein is expressed in melanoma and many malignant tumors, but not in normal tissues except for testes. It may play a role in embryonal development and tumor transformation or aspects of tumor progression.
