Protein made in E. coli as a fusion with human superoxide dismutase (SOD). It covers from Met 1 to Gly 433 of the glycoprotein p50 of the CMV AD169 strain. The apparent MW is 62,000. The protein is purified by ionic -exchange followed by gel filtration chromatography.
