Human IGF-Binding protein 2 is produced in genetically engineered yeast, and purified by affinity chromatography and HPLC.
- Molecular weight: 31 kDa
- Purity: Over 90% pure by SDS gel electrophoresis.
- Storage: Store at +4°C. Reconstitution is best in water or buffer near neutral pH. After reconstitution, storage in aliquots at -80°C is recommended.
- Stability: Stable at +4°C, however its stability is under investigation.
- Biological activity: Binding activity of human IGF-BP 2 is under investigation by the inhibition activity of both IGF I and II.
