DescriptionIgG fraction from rabbit polyclonal antibody obtained by immunizing rabbits with a mixture of three synthetic peptides corresponding to aa11-24 (KAQYELYNRKL NRA), aa149-161 (TFNDLAAQKAGDK), and aa202-212 (EAINLVSGLNK) of the RBDV coat protein. The IgG fraction was purified using Protein G-Sepharose.

Biological ActivityThis polyclonal antibody reacts with extracts of RBDV infected plants in PTA (Plate-Trapped Antigen)-ELISA (1: 200 dilution) and it recognizes a band (30 kDa) correponding to RBDV coat protein by Western Blot. RBDV belongs to the genus Idaeovirus, its genome consists of two segments of positive single-stranded RNA molecules. The genome is packaged in isometric particles with a coat protein of 30 kDa. RBDV infects wild and cultivated Rubus species and is transmitted by pollen and seeds.
FormulationSolution at 1 mg/mL in PBS. Some of the liquid in the vial could have evaporated with changes in the final volume. However, the mass of the protein is still inside the vial.
