DescriptionIgG fraction from rabbit polyclonal antibody obtained by immunizing rabbits with a mixture of three synthetic peptides corresponding to aa 31-44 (DGFVKKQFPGGSSK), aa 78-91 (SGVYYTMKVREFFK), and aa 203-215 (ERDTTALMDAMDR) of the PDV coat protein. The IgG fraction was purified using Protein G-Sepharose.

StorageStore at -20ºC.
StabilityStable at least one year at -20ºC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Biological ActivityThis polyclonal antibody reacts with the mixture of the above peptides in ELISA and Western Blot assays (1: 1,000 dilution). PDV belongs to the genus Ilarvirus of the family Bromoviridae; its genome consists of three segments of positive single-stranded RNA molecules. The coat protein (24 kDa) is required for the initiation of RNA replication, encapsidation, cell-to-cell movement, and systemic spread of the virus. Virions are isometric, bacilliform and are transmitted by grafting, pollen and seeds.
FormulationSolution at 1 mg/mL in PBS. Some of the liquid in the vial could have evaporated with changes in the final volume. However, the mass of the protein is still inside the vial.
